jOOf: first time i saw him i drove with raoul (hypersky) to see him in SF at 1015, i was like WTF???? are you serious, i hadn't danced like that or been affected like that by a dj or the music yet since clubbing, that was 3 years ago. i've seen him in SF 2 more times after that, SD, here in LA a ton, and miami. seen him probably 15 times easy since then. although my musical tastes have changed john will always be a dj that i will go see and support b/c i truly believe he changes peoples emotions and feelings about his sound :)
more recently: lee burridge and steve lawler |

Considering how almost all of the top guys make relatively regular stops in SF, I can't see myself actually buying plane tickets for the sole purpose of seeing one DJ. Maybe that will change once I become more gainfully employed, but I doubt it.
Of course, if I were on the fence about going on a trip, the fact that I could catch, say Christopher Lawrence while I was there could easily push me over the edge. |

The first DJ that i was "wow"d by was....THEEO!!
he was the first guy that i went out to see intentionally, never travelled out of town to see him though.
First DJ i left town to go see was actually a group of them, went up to SF for a skills party to see the Nukleuz DJ's at the Bill Graham, Nukleuz was hosting the side room at Electro techno disco Love

Nick Sentience
Ed Real

That such a kick ass night. :eyes: In 2003, they also brought Guyver, Tara Reynolds, and Tinrib. Sometimes I wish that style of hard house was still around. |

That style is STILL AROUND. I play it every Saturday. Too bad I'm not that big fan of it, but I still play it.

| Armin van Buuren. We went to see ATB and Armin was spinning before ATB and that was all it took. |

Don't be shy and hold back. ;)
For me it was Oakenfold and then Sasha & Digweed. |
didn't know you like sasha and digweed enough to follow them around! :disbelief |
