| let's see...i have specifically "followed" markus schulz, cosmic gate and kyau & albert meaning i've literally gone to another city just in time to hear them spin then made my trek back home. the latest party i've traveled for was breakfast and ferry but that was only because breakfast is my friend's friend, ferry is her favorite dj and it was her birthday so it was bound to be good times which it was. |

My job involves travel so it's pretty cool to have the chance to see the DJs that are playing in the city you're working in.
So for me definitely Above and Beyond...saw them at Circus, Vanguard in LA, Pacha in NYC and Nocturnal in Miami.
Sasha and Digweed - saw them at Maximus for NYE in LA, Ultra Festival in Miami and House of Blues in Chicago.
Although not intentional, when I was in NYC last week, Armin was playing at Pachita. This week I'm in Phoenix for work, Armin was playing at Myst yesterday. I'm going back to LA this weekend and Armin will be at Vanguard! I'm thinking about going to see him this weekend, last time was at Maximus. |

above & beyond at pacha like two weeks ago was pretty good and armin at pachita was just a mess with people BUT fun nevertheless. do you have a different crew of people to hang out with in each city you have to travel to? i've gone places alone but you can only do that so many times. |

Hey chimera66...it depends. Some of them are into EDM and some flat out can't stand it. In NYC, I usually go with my brother and a friend that just recently moved there from LA. When I was in Chicago last month, I suggested to my coworkers to go to Crobar for Erick Morillo. We got in at 12 and left an hour later cause they all hated the music. I ended up checking out Sasha and Digweed on my own the next day. For me, with or without a crew I still have fun and end up meeting new people anyways. |

Mines would have to be Johan Gielen. I mean...though I've been listening to Oakie and PVD as well as Armin. I listened to Johan's set live at Trance Energy 2001. and OMG!!!! Then I dl'd the video to that event...though only 20 min. long. OMG, he drops Katana - Fancy Fair and his song Twisted. It totally rocked!
Then he came to the So. cal for the first time like...I think, around 3 years ago. I went and it was so awesome. He dropped by a few more times the last few years. And all which I've attended.

I'm only allowed to pick one? Does Underworld count?
If not, I'd say Victor Calderone or Danny T...I'm still a tribal whore. |
