ing souless imo. Really cashing in on the "in sounds" with every release.
"Paris" sounded heavily influenced by his buddy Prydz, wonder if he helped...
"Nightlaw/Home" were terrible takes at the "minimal" sound...
And now his newest release "Sirena/Release" is absolute rubbish.
Did ANYONE buy these? |

yeah I've been a little disappointed, he needs to go back to making solid house music
and I loved 1983 too, none of these recent ones can touch that |

Cant say I've liked most of his tunes actually...Ruckus was a fun one.
Should stick to the tables, and his more housey style at that. |

There are producers doing way worse than he is at capitalizing on "that sound" right now (Someone needs to tell Popof to "please stop"). Nightlaw, Home, Sirena, and Release are all very, very generic sounding tunes - but they're generic sounding tunes that are at the very least well produced.
In general, I've never really thought his productions were anything special (Other than Kymtech and his remix of the Fibonacci Sequence) - but as a DJ he is -hot, so if these are the tunes that are going to keep him on top of his game, more power to him I guess. |

Yeah I think his productions have been going down hill as well, they're just not the Paolo Mojo I fell in love with :p
Same with his djing, I'm usually very excited to hear him spin, I think he always plays a great set. But I saw him at the Beatport pool party in Miami and I wasn't feeling it at all :( I'm glad things are going well for him though, he's pretty big now...first few times I saw him no one had any idea who he was. |

| I'm in the same boat. I used be like, "Go Mojo Go Mojo Go!" and now I'm kinda like, "Go Mojo G...meh." |
