Armin van Buuren.

I remember going to my first show in Crobar about 5 years ago and seeing Tiesto. (fake id, whaaaat) Had no clue about the scene, about edm in general.

I started college and started listening to ASOT as background music to do homework to. Now, all those tracks I listened to weren't Armin's mind you but it was his show. I can honestly say, if it weren't for that, I wouldn't be typing this message. So influence wise, Armin is my dude, and always will be. I've seen him live and he played a pretty sick set but nothing outta this world.

As for Ferry, I've seen him twice. And both sets have been my favorite shows, the atmosphere was awesome and the track selection, sickk'

really hard because i have favorites for different reasons...paul oakenfold was my dj god for so many years and in all honesty he's the only dj i listened to at first so nothing to compare him to during the "early years." markus schulz has been my absolute favorite though for the past 3 or so years and i don't foresee that changing anytime soon
