If you had to name ONE DJ that is your favorite of all time (since the day you began listening to edm.....) who would it be and why?
**No Lists, no ties, no "DJ's from different genres/time frames/etc"..........just ONE single DJ.
Who would it be? :) |

Frankie Wilde
Because he could DJ even when he was deaf. Plus the whole seen when he was playing tennis with his then wife was classic.
P.S. I know he wasnt a real DJ so no flaming necessary. |

I've been seeing THE MAN since I was 16. It was my 16th bday present from my parents haha. TY MOM & POPS! ;)
He is prob the only one that [although he has his moments] he can still bring it PROPER! Best memories are at his events.

He is still the only DJ where I make a big deal about seeing, taek off from work on that nite...pregame with my friedns that some still only come out on PvD nites...and get butterflies waiting to get in b/c i know what he's going to do.
Its my emotional release..and for those 4-6hrs i forget about life for a while.

Yeah and you don't understand how lucky NY is to even have him play for 6 hours.
miami at most he prob did 4 1/2 hours. Don't even get me started on classic PvD sets. (which i sooo am)

Ferry Corsten. :) :) He is my all-time DUDE!!!!
He is the only guy that I can say wins out in ALL the categories for me: great producer, great live shows, stage presence, good radio show, and the *best* personality.....the dude is hilarious :)
There are a ton of DJ's that I love for individual reasons (ie: Preach is my fav live DJ, Above & beyond for their continuous prodcutions, etc.........), but he wins the all-around, not to mention ***longevity***, which is KEY. He has ALWAYS been good, where as some of my other favs have been spotty and/or good for a certain period of time.
He is the reason I started this thread, because I was thinking to myself: "damn there was NEVER a time that he dissapointed me........"
