Gotta agree with Brian, for more or less the same reasons, John Digweed. He's so much more than just a great DJ, He's prolly the best promoter on the planet also..

I'd rather go to see our locals more than anyone though, they never disappoint. I go out in Boston and NYC a lot and We rarely hang about to catch the headliner..Eli Wilkie is my favorite atm.

ATB

This man is the sole reason that I got into trance. I remember I was in high school and someone put in a copy of trance nation 2 into my cd player. The cd opens up with don't stop by ATB. I fell in love with the music. I proceded to check out his other songs and mixed ablums. There were not many mixed ablums, actually, none of them had his name on them up until 2004 I believe. They were MOS releases that he had mixed. Simmilar to how Ferry Corsten was around 10 years ago. I remember just turning 19 and going to see him play at Webster Hall in New York. It was only 7 days after my birthday, so I was JUST able to get in. I will never forget that night, or the other 2 times I have seen him. Can't wait until June 13! The energy this man brings during his sets are unmatched. The interaction with the crowd is something that he is a master of. You can tell he loves what he is doing when he is playing. He is also not afraid to mix it up, he;s been dropping NIRVANA - SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT in the middle of some of his recent sets! This is not a remix, it is the real deal origional. How many other DJ's would dare to play a rock song in the middle of a trance set? Overall, his productions are by far the best, and his live shows are second to none in my book. If only he had a weekly radio show...

tiesto. when he's not phoning it in, there's no trance dj that can work a big club like him. pvd is a close second for the same reasons.

Gotta say Armin... First big room trance experience ever was seeing Armin in Australia for 8 hrs in a club where I almost didnt get in cause i was dressed too nicely (khakis and a polo)!!! That is something I'll never forget, and def sets the bar for any gig in the future. But he brings more energy (and more jesus poses) then just about any DJ, and you never see him not smiling when playing.

obviously there are about 10 others i can list, but rules are rules....
