quickly listened both cd's... big disappointed, liking two tracks on cd 1, the moonbeam remix and the kya & albert remix.

CD 2 is really a big letdown, there are so so many more summerish trance tracks that would fit better imho... there is just no track that stands out for me. Also, some of those tracks sound really thin and outdated, not to say uninspired. Melkweg is pretty good, but then again the production is lacking, could be so much fatter.

will listen this again somewhere on a beach this summer, maybe i feel totally different then. CD 1 is better than 2, and thats coming from an uplifting trance fan :S

btw lol what is this 5. Three Drives - Feel The Rhythm (Ton TB Dub Mix) ... :conf:

total different taste on this one... not feeling that one at all, totally out of place imho, and the main part of the track is cheeze and even sounds quite amateurish (synth work)

the track after that one is the best track of cd 1 i think, awesome atmosphere and melodic work

Not cheese at all mate. These guys make Trance like Trance used to be made. And amateurish may be you opinion, but these has made EDM for 15 years now, although that too is irrelevant, ive been waiting for a new Three Drives for 3 years now, and i get goosebumps of listening to that track.

Agreed on the track after though, very well made, good vocals and melody.

I see. Well yes, it may not be very well produced and probably a little cheesy. But what I like about the track is that it simply sounds oldschool :)

Too Forever is great indeed :D

You're talking about Rachael Starr like you never heard it :stongue: It's a nice one though, but shouldn't be on there. Out of place just as The Storm and Mat Zo on disc 2..
KrissO
I assume that was for Subtle and Stino :P
But either way... I think it was a nice surprise including it :)
About about the others I'm simply not sure...

Agreed. Love the track but it's out of place.

just doesn't really feel like an ISOS CD. Feels more like something armin would put together.

After a couple of listens I have to say I'm still disappointed. :(

CD1 for about the first half is pretty good. Decent music especially at the start but then wears off.

CD2 had a couple of decent tracks but for the most part was pretty bland and boring "trance". :o

Quite a lot of "wtf is that doing in there" here too like:
Cressida - 6AM (Kyau & Albert Remix)
Estiva vs. Marnix - Casa Grande :whip:

In short:
CD1 - 6.5/10
CD2 - 3/10
