cd1 is too far away from the first cd of isos 6
too differences from one track and the other (ride it's a pop song, feel the rithm it's trance, for example)
i put my hope in cd2 |

CD 1 is really relaxing and serene, but a little flat for me. Would be best to throw on as background music. The mixing is spot on, pretty damn nice for Tiesto, and the flow is ok. Just nothing really stood out for me, though tracks 7 through 12 were a nice group of songs.
CD 2 is awesome! Reminds me of the type of trance we used to hear in the Magik series and or more-so the very first ISOS compilation (minus the vocals because there are nill on this disc). Very much a night-time feeling disc. The mixing isn't as smooth as in the first disc but oh well, the tracks make it worth it. The ending track is EPIC AS , what a great ending!
Overall, I wanted to "preview the album" before deciding to buy, and I'll buy this when it comes out, if not for the 2nd CD alone. |

+1. but on the other hand, there are less ty Tijs tunes on it then i expected. second, the whole compilation is more solid regarding track selection.
therefore, although observing its different then other ISOS's, its not bad imo |

Dont bet on it, thats the best the compilation gets. After that its only downhill and boring! |

I would agree with this - some great tracks on cd1 but they just dont flow 2getha.
Cd2 flows much better.
Overall I personally think its decent! :D
I would love to see some of the f**k*rs on ere put together a 2cd compilation, mix it flawlessly like they expect and have every single person love it.
Not to mention going out and finding the original tracks to put on it... rather than a collection of tunes they last heard on Armin's radio show the week b4!! :rolleyes: |

heh, you think tiesto 'went out and found' all these tracks himself? he gets mailed promos of everything & has A&R to filter out the crap for him
and i'd imagine quite a few people from here could put together a product of similar or better quality given access to as many tracks & a copy of ableton (not to take anything from tiesto, i actually like him.. just think attitudes like yours are ty and that everyone has a right to voice negative opinions) |
