Yup, jenny is right. Plus most of the vaccinations recommend that 16-19 year olds get it, sooooo that leaves me and most of us out ;) lol way beyond my time. |

From what I understand, the whole point of most of these vaccines is for the body to fight it off so that your immune system learns how to kill it. |

I dont know the specifics (I am not a doctor) but from what I know, they recommend that 16-19 year olds take the vaccine (its free in most clinics here, but often come with a fee).
I think they might offer it only to younger women for testing puposes. Like Jenny said, its still a new thing and hasnt been around long enough to see the long-term effects. Not 100% positive if thats the reason tho...maybe someone who knows more about it will fill us in. (??) |
