Actually im enjoying Dr Pepper.

You guys have pretty much avoided, at every turn in this thread the fair debate platform of showing the actual games, so yah, im having fun watching PC Fanboys not want to show up to a graphics debate with actual graphics, instead using old articles that mean nothing when the games should do all the talking. Just admit you dont have much to show, like I suspected. Maybe I should have made it only 5 games...to help you guys out some more.

Hows that Crow Pie? :D

that's the other thing. lionslair seems to have no idea what a PC costs. i could buy a PC today that was faster than what i currently have, for about $800. and both are significantly more powerful than the PS3.

not that it really matters, specs aint everything. but i just cant tolerate people's ignorance and bull.

you don't even understand the nature of the debate :(

Denialism: the employment of rhetorical tactics to give the appearance of argument or legitimate debate, when in actuality there is none. These false arguments are used when one has few or no facts to support one's viewpoint against a scientific consensus or against overwhelming evidence to the contrary. They are effective in distracting from actual useful debate using emotionally appealing, but ultimately empty and illogical assertions.

Examples of common topics in which Denialists employ their tactics include: Creationism/Intelligent Design, Global Warming Denialism, Holocaust Denial, HIV/AIDS Denialism, 9/11 conspiracies, tobacco carcinogenecity denialism (the first organized corporate campaign), anti-vaccination/mercury autism denialism and anti-animal testing/animal rights extremist denialism. Denialism spans the ideological spectrum, and is about tactics rather than politics or partisanship.

We believe there are five simple guidelines for identifying denialist arguments. Most denialist arguments will incorporate more than one of the following tactics: Conspiracy, Selectivity, False Experts, Impossible Expectations/Moving Goalposts, and Argument from Metaphor/violations of informal logic.

Im sure he wiki'd that.

Pkc why are you defining denial...how am I denying anything? You should define "avoidance" and "ignorance", seriously lulz. I set a perfectly fair goal post for you guys to score thru, but none of you can even step up to the plate with 10 PC games. To prove how poor you guys are at the very straight forward argument I have posed, in response to the idea that PC's are vastly more powerful than the PS3, ill drop that down to 5 games. Lets see 5 games that look better than the top 5 PS3 games, which run a hardware you can buy for just $400. There is no 5 games, and there is no hardware that costs less than $1500 that can compete with PS3's exclusives.

Lions Lair Infinity. PC Fanboy Alliance Zip Zero Stingy with Deniro.

i have already pointed out that there isnt a single game on the PS3 that looks better than the corresponding version on the PC. that's just fact.

there also isnt a single title on the PS3 that looks as good as crysis or CoD4 on the PC. there isnt a single title that looks as good as forged alliance on the PS3. DIRT looks better on the PC. as does alone in the dark, though we wont know for sure for ages because theyre behind in the development when compared to the 360 & Wii & PS2 & PC. bioshock isnt there yet, but looks better on PC than 360. mass effect also looks best on PC.

the simple fact is you dont play on a PC enough to appreciate, whereas i play on my friend's PS3 often.

i know youre gonna talk about "exclusives" but like i keep pointing out to you, only fanboys care about exclusives. the games you keep touting as ps3 exclusives (like that game you just posted in the COR) looks worse than current games already out on PC.

Good job at moving the goal posts and being delusional at the same time. COD4 which can be played on the PS3 on $400, on the fastest PC you can build looks like poop compared to KZ2, they arent even in the same galaxy. KZ2 poops all over Crysis visually. Anyhow, the beat down you have duefully received in this thread is epic. Bookmark this thread for the memories.

Wait, so what are the top 5 best looking PS3 exclusives then? Give us something to compare to, so far i only know of MGS4 and honestly on a decent rig Crysis looks better. So give us an example of a couple fo toher PS3 exclusives that we can comapre agains. Unless of course you thing MGS4 is the best loking one of the bunch in which case dont bother since Crysis would beat that anyway.

Exactly. So far he's mentioned MGS4 and Killzone, and I agree that those are certainly the best looking games on the system...but they are no better than Crysis or COD4 running at 1080P with details maxed.

hell, even Gears 2 for the 360 looks sharper than MGS4, and it's barely 50% done..

Come on Lion, give it up bud...What's next? Are you gonna try and convince us that an analog stick is more accurate for FPS games than a mouse and keyboard? lol :o

OMG...I was catching up with some old COR posts and was reading the thread about the movie Bioshock.. Look at this priceless quote I found from our buddy Lion.. I took a screen cap for posterity:
