ok .. screw all this commercial bull rnb gay retarded .. australia needs a trance radio station.. ID&T ANYONE?????
we need an ID&T here i swear to god.. if we had a station like that i would be the happiest chap alive, but no.. we have to put up with constant commercial teeny bopper RNB cheesy pop trance BULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I disagree. If there were to be a single radio station that played nothing but trance, where do you think the scene would go? Commercial. Trance will just become to what people call 'dance music'. No thanks

| this reminds me of a thread i had a while.......yeah agree with you, no commercialism, i got a friend that listened to 'dance music' but its just dance pop crap...converted him to the great "trance music", wouldn't mind a id&t station but only s would follow the trend and say trance music is good without actually really liking it :whip: |

Do you really love trance? Is your love for trance unconditional?
If so then why would you care if everyone on the planet was listening to it?
The more often I hear trance the better, I love trance. If there was a radio station then sure it would become really commercial. But that is a good thing because that will put more money into the trance scene and make it grow. The growth of the trance scene would bring about more fresh sounds and more talent for our listening pleasure. |

yeah, it's true...you just can't win with these things. You've always got those damn sheep who clutch onto the latest trends and pretend they like certain things when they don't. Grrr! :whip:

well we can possibly help you with the all night trance raves.
starting up in early july we are putting on a night in sydney which will feature melodic uplifting trance, ferry corsten & van buuren style, as the music policy - none of the harder trance Sydney seems to only play!
i'll post more info when it is confirmed, but for now -- just get excited:)

But we'll never get a trance radio station in Oz - there just simply isn't a market for it.
Sure there's us, but there ain't many of us :D
And besides, there aren't that many Aussie DJs who actively spin trance .. most of the big Sydney DJs can spin trance at a pinch (PeeWee Ferris, Mark Dynamix, even Bexta), but they generally go for hard house.
Shame really :( |

Oops forgot to mention .. I also heard a rumour that Plastic would be starting a monthly trance night in Sydney sometime in the next few months....
