Do you think there may be enough interest to start a roll call?? I can find a bar for us to go to if a few of us are interested. Im soooooo excited for an afternoon race. And this is going to be such a good race! |
Well, I can only speak for myself here. But this was the first time in the last 17 years I missed a race (missed Monaco last week...family stuff). So if needed I'll hire homeless people to seat fill to get this off the ground. |

I must say it was a pretty good turnout for a TA event that's non-music and non-show. Nice to meet you new TAs and great getting together with a couple of veterans.
The meal was tasty as expected. To quench my thirst, I did find it disapointing that there wasn't any slavic beer available to wash down my Cevapi.
Big hand to mamma who came out for her ovation. We must've made her work so hard for our group, and no meat came out raw. All juicy and tender, and entrees all came out at about the same time.
The background music was Serb I believe, some words I was able to pick out. The live duo was beginning to set up their instruments just as we left.
I do want to point out that at the end of the night, that the food bill was completely payed for, and the waiter also got a zdravi tip! Unlike some other events where some took off without paying, there was some generosity here to be noted. THANK YOU to all the TA's who put in an extra few dollars in the pot to cover any potential short-changers. This was a very noble and quality crowd. |
