Okay, it's only been a day, so I can't give a big review on everything.
But we got it installed this morning. Professional installation in both livingroom and bedroom (there weren't any previous connections).
Clear picture - Fiber Optics (not cable)
everything loads really fast on the tv while changing channels
tons of channels - many packages to choose from with competitive prices
the guide shows exactly what is playing on whichever channel you have highlighted in a box in the corner - pretty awesome
some cool features that time warner didn't have
came with a free dvdr (time warner wanted to charge me extra)
The internet seems to load pretty fast, but I haven't tried uploading or downloading songs yet or anything
Came with a free WIRELESS modem/router
and impressed with customer service so far
1st month is free with the FULL EVERYTHING package, and then you can change to a smaller package after that if you choose - same with internet speeds |

Uverse isn't quiet like FiOS. We still have our services capped on fiber homes because not all of our customers have fiber to the prem, they just have it to the pedestal.
Whole home DVR should be coming out soon...also in St. Louis they are testing out "mediashare". Any computer hooked up the network, you will be able to access all the pictures, movies, and music, and be able to display them on any of the set top boxes.
Also, on the back of all the boxes there is a "network" port. You can hardwire computers, xbox, ps3's, from this. You will still get the same speed as if u were hard wired from the modem. |
