I have had "The Journey" for a while now - and can't decide whether I think it's mega or I absolutely ing hate it. I know it would go off well in a club, that's for sure :p
The sample of "Stockholm Marathon" on Juno is ing awful though - literally have no idea what the tune even sounds like. :wtf: |

Both songs are "you have to hear it live" imo. They're really repetitive and often boring sometimes, but when the low end sub basses hit you in a club, it's so much different than listening on headphones. Because of the repetition, the samples kind of suck.
And I'm serious, don't tell me that the "only in a club" thing isn't true. :p |

I couldn't form an opinion on that sample for "Stockholm Marathon" regardless of whether it's ploddy or repetitive - the sample is literally a minute and a half of "kick-snare" with 20 seconds of breakdown at the end.
I don't know how one could possibly have any idea of what it's about. :wtf: |

| It's all about the breakdown and the chuggy bassline+beat. Did you catch what isn't in the sample? :p |

| It's not taste proof definitely, but what I'm talking about is it took me hearing SM at Studio A to "get it". |

Well I think anyone's could, but that doesn't mean that a twelve pack and 3 epillz later it might not catch you offguard at a club :p |

Wait, since when?
:conf:
I'm not sure you realize how far his tentacles reach... it certainly isn't as if the only people playing Prydz (or Prydz alias) tunes are Armin, Garraud, and the SHM.
I was actually surprised how many of them I heard at DEMF - especially all the upcoming Cirez D releases.
And Howells plays tons of them - so yeah, really not sure where you're coming from with that one. |
