Nice/upscale lunch spots?

Graduating tomorrow and have some family coming up for the ceremony. Looking to grab some lunch after, and wouldn't mind going to a nicer place than what I'd normally go to. Doesn't need to be super-swanky/expensive, but something that's a few steps above Jack Astors would be nice.

any suggestions?

You might want to ask for an area!

heh, somewhere close to Ryerson - so downtown/central would be preferred, but don't mind if we need to jump into a Taxi to head out to the spot.

Food style preference: none really (except no seafood), although everyone that is coming has a soft spot for Indian food.

There's a Baton Rouge in the Eaton Centre, righ off Yonge (by 102.1)..that might work. Hard Rock Cafe is there, too - which could be cool for out-of-town guests.

Ki at BCE place is really nice.

I'd say hard rock would be a no-go, supposed to be more of a "Hey, I've finally graduated school, lets go celebrate with a good meal", not a "let take the family to a tourist trap restaurant"

If the weather is nice (but its calling for rain, boo) - was thinking possibly the patio at Queen Mother.

Not sure what your budget is, but:
George
C5
Jamie Kennedy
Grace

All have excellent food and atmosphere.

Hrmm, those two spots look good. Someone else recommended Harlem on Richmond - looks good, anyone been?
