It is one of the city landmark restaurants and the food is very good.

Graduating tomorrow and have some family coming up for the ceremony. Looking to grab some lunch after, and wouldn't mind going to a nicer place than what I'd normally go to. Doesn't need to be super-swanky/expensive, but something that's a few steps above Jack Astors would be nice.

any suggestions?

Verticle, prob spelt that wrong, First CDN Place.

There's already a bunch of things I want to order off the menu, and it's walking distance from 40 Gerrard. Ian and I have decided to go there at least once during Canada Day week.
