| The problem I have with Indian buffets, is they never tend to have enough spice for my liking. I love Indian food, but if my face isnt going red and I'm sweating onto my plate, theres not enough spice :) |

I'd say hard rock would be a no-go, supposed to be more of a "Hey, I've finally graduated school, lets go celebrate with a good meal", not a "let take the family to a tourist trap restaurant"
If the weather is nice (but its calling for rain, boo) - was thinking possibly the patio at Queen Mother. |
Just went to Queen Mother last night with a few other TOTAs.
Their patio was nice and cozy - its kinda hidden away from the main street.
They had a limited menu but the food was good.
Service was a little slow last night though - don't know if this is typically the case or not.
for Indian, I'd suggest:

Grace has opened up in place of Xacutti. Xacutti's executive chef Brad Moore went on to Ninth Gate for a brief stint before another chef took over and that place closed down too. Grace has been garnering a lot of positive attention though. |

But Ki is more hype than substance. Great for a night of mingling if you're single, but the food is not worth what they charge. |

Was just about to say this. Apparently they search all-day breakfast too.

For spicy Indian style Hakka (Chinese) food, try Lint Gardens at Sheppard & Pharmacy
Or for a really "classy" restaurant, try "Auberge" (I hope I got the spelling right) on York Mills & Yonge :D |
