Simle, who is the political figure you respect, like most.. one you think is honest and genuinly wants good for his people and not his own political career..
Mines:
1.Tony Blair: (Even though he supported war, but I think he was too gullible and US - UK ties are so strong he couldnt say no when Bush begged on his knees in front of him for his support) I think he has always been honest, humble and did the best possible job.. it could have been lot worse for UK like it is at present in US for Bush and for country..
2.Ahmejidan: Iran president, I dont think I need to say anything to explain why I like him, I think eveyone in this whole world like him and feels he is honest and not asking for something like I want freaking all world and all of its oil reserves and oil rich countries, he just want some nuclear reactors so that his country can be energy sufficient and not rely on oil all the time. And he has guts.. he is the right leader that Iran and whole freaking Middle East needs right now.
Al Gore: I just respect him, he knows and identifies what real problem is, how and dont believe in chasing goats and sheeps in Afghanistan. It would have been a different world if he was president. |

That's the thing about politics and politicians though. Just for those three people I know or have met literally dozens of people who absolutely despise them for various reasons.
I don't mind Blair and Gore, but Ahmejidan....he's not who I thought he was a while back. Seems to be a rather elaborate cover. |

the person who came closest to embodying my belief system would probably be former leader of the australian democrats natasha stott despoja
bright, articulate, progressive, feisty. maybe renegade could tell us if she played a role in the slow demise of the democrats as a political force in australian politics? i dunno. but otherwise she fought really hard for what is good and right in this country.
plus, i'll be honest. i would totally go there. |
