their popular songs are probably the ones i like the least, mainly because it was such an obvious "let's compromise our sound to sell records" ploy (that every popular band inevitably succumbs to). like i said, "life is peachy" and to a lesser extent their self-titled cd are excellent works... "follow the leader" and on from there is dog imo.
one hard rock group that i really enjoy from that era is "Cold"... are you familiar?

what can i say? i like cheesy melodic riffs :) then i liked cheesy uplifting trance. at least im consistent :D
