y'see, what I was getting at here was the irony of the preamble (so to speak) where the singer states that the song covers a serious and daunting issue but then proceeds to make a video using tired clichés including, but not limited to: unrealistic depictions of a recently hanged girl, himself covered in blood screaming in guttural tones, and him taking a shotgun to himself but winding up in an asylum. ALL IN THE NAME OF MOTHERING ROCK YEAAAAAAAAAAH!
