| quote: | Dance music collaborations are an every day occurrence in the colossal world of EDM, so it might come as a bit of a shocker that a. one of it’s long standing legends; Marco V has never collaborated with anyone else, and b. neither has rising superstar Sander van Doorn.
It was never really planned as such, but a chance visit by van Doorn to Marco’s Southside studio has resulted in this – a dance masterpiece entitled Organic!
Organic will be released on Marco’s Incharge imprint on 14th July 2007.
The story doesn’t end there.
In return and to cement the collaboration, Marco took a trip to the Doorn studios where a second piece was cut! Track number 2 will follow in the coming months so keep your eyes peeled and your ears open!
Organic will get its World Premiere on Judge Jules’ BBC Radio 1 show on Friday 27th June when Marco co-presents!
If you love what this Dutch duo do, then be sure to tune in. |
very interesting

Marco has been for me at least, one of the most influential artists around, as much as I don't like his recent stuff much at all. Sander's tracks remind me a lot of some of the older Marco V stuff from around 1998-2004 or so, which is why I like him a lot out of more recent artists.
I'm expecting big things :nervous: |

awesome!!
just the other day i was thinking about how these two are kind of similar- both pioneered the driving tech-trance a few years ago, and have now both dropped to a kind of minimal/proggy tech kinda sound...
should be a VERY interesting colab... |

This should be interesting, I can't say Dudak did much for me though...
Marco V - Simulated
Up there with some of the best tunes of all time.
edit: Godd is better! :happy2: |

Couldn't agree more!
Not so much with their recent productions, but both their earlier stuff like Automanual, False Light and the Direct Dizko remix impressed me because they featured such strong, unique percussion, employing interesting and significant changes phrase-to-phrase.
Hopefully this collaboration will see more of the same! |

jordo, SvD didn't pioneer techtrance - marco v did i reckon :p
BUT he did breathe hot new life into the genre and took over from where marco left off when he went all minimal techtrance/housey aka. ''...
nothing will EVER beat early marco tho.. as cookie pointed out, c:/del#.mp3, echoes (v.ision remix), godd, loops, etc. will stand fast in freakin techtrances halls of fame :p
this collab however, does sound en mad since my revamp of faith in marco following his what u need remix :D |
