Theres this article in mixmag about this Billionaire American who rleleased a trance version of John Lennon's Imagine, that did really well, as it was released shortly before the Spetember 11th

Part of the article says "World peace is his aim and pop trance is his weapon" "I see fighting in the Middle East, i see racism every day in the US, now I'm launching technopeace bombs"

I think Sonic Groove Recs. made a whole EP with techno tracks dedicated to this cause.Tracks included were:
Horrorist - Blood In The Sand
Adam X - Feeling Militant
Personally I get a VERY bad feeling when it comes to mixing techno with militant affairs,but I guess it was pretty proper in this case.

Well...it's not entirely true but there's still a lot of truth to it. If the US hadn't entered WW2, there's a good arguement that England wouldn't have been able to withstand Germany.
Nevertheless, people shouldn't say "we saved your ass in WW2 or whatever"...we helped just as England would have helped the US had it been in trouble. |

what was wrong with the american attitude? we were very unpatriotic right before 911, so when 911 hit, we were. now it's back to normal. Jesus, why do you get pissed about the trends of a country's people... why don't you worry about more important things?
Like it hurts anyone if a bunch of Flags are boughten, big ing deal.
Of course America isn't the whole world, but all countries have their own pride. there's people all over the world saying their country is the greatest, whoopdy . |
