Interesting - Rogers and Fido websites seem to be overloaded today, must be people checking out the iPhone.
I finally got into Fido.ca and they updated their site appearance so as to only show you their regular menu of (rip-off) monthly iPhone plans - can't find info on the 6 GB $30 data plan any more. Presumably it is still available and you can get that and maybe some freebies if you call in and do a little arm-twisting. |

Ok so all of those twats that lined up wasted their time...
I just called Rogers and upgraded to the iPhone...
Took me 35 mins to complain to customer relations that I'm a long term customer and want this phone for the new customer price...
So for 40 mins of phone time, I got the phone for $299 (16gig), with the $30 data...
And I just talked to my friend at Wireless Wave in Vaughn and he still had 2 8 gigs left...
Not so hard... |
