I think it was an interesting way to segue between some stuff that's techier than I'd expect from you into the classic David Michael prog-house I've heard that past few years.

The beginning definitely took me by a bit of surprise, but it didn't take long to get into the chuggy stuff. First three tunes were ice, mixed well, and laid the groundwork for the whole set.

Didn't really like the end as much as the beginning - but never thought it was anything I wanted to turn off. All in all really enjoyable for me, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that I enjoyed the first half much, much more than the second. :)

I expected a pretty similar response to this from you and, to be honest, I agree. I enjoy the first half of the set more than the second. I'm actually working my way towards more of that funky, techy sound so I think this set was a good "transition" into that for me.

Admittedly, the reason I got more proggy and almost trancey towards the end was because I'm also using this as a demo to send out to some local places around here, and I don't expect to get away with too much of the groovy/glitchy stuff in a row. I hate catering my sound to a promoter's audience, but I'D be lying if I said it didn't influence the latter half of my set. I was still happy with the way it turned out, though.

Thanks for the review. :)
