I doubt that very much. You can't believe how much of a pain in the ass it can be sometimes to haul that thing around for an 8-10hr event. There's always the threat of loosing it by putting it down and forgetting about it (you know how that can be easy to do if your "partied up"). Then there's getting your groove on when the slammin tunes get your blood boiling to dance. There's no one to hold on to the dam thing, so your stuck to dance with it. |
if its such a "pain in the ass" then why would u even bother |

Because the Dj's management may request to use the footage. |

Honestly, just ask for credit. Who cares? I see your point with wanting to get something, but IMO that something should be credit. Think about it...if they want to be jerks about it, if you ask for money they could say "forget it" and go to the next video.

i have a feeling they aren't going to dish out cash for this...
but, you deserve something, so don't agree to it unless you get credit for it....
and besides, bragging rights are worth way more than the potential $75 |

| i don't see why they wouldn't pay a little cash for it. if the management spends a few hundred to a web designer to make the site... why wouldn't they pay a little more to spruce it up with a video? |

| I'd ask for some cash and credit. If they say no to the cash then just take the credit - no big deal. Might as well try to earn back SOME of the huge load of dough you dropped on that camcorder. |

Why would they, if they could just get something else for free?

I believe I'm siding with this train of thought. After all the video footage is what they're after... not the video. The video is just slapped together and not professionally done. I really doubt they will put the cash out, and the recognition is far more valuable... especially if I can get them to put my website link at the beginning. |
