well why didnt you say so ! i am too , i recycle , i have a low emission car ,but i dislike global warming as a excuse for money dealing and an excuse to charge me more in money for nothing

most people have no idea what conservation is


it's worse in architecture. rather than come up with a sustainable development strategy or the creative reuse of an existing building, institutions like universities and corporations go to ridiculous lengths to build absurd 'green buildings' which are the architectural equivalent of hollywood sfx movies, except instead of trying to hit box office numbers, they try to rack of LEED points so they can put a little trophy on their secretaries' desks and color their annual report forest green.


they're concerned about the emissions of their building but don't even think about all the human and natural energy wasted in the construction of the building, the manufacture and collection of materials, etc

cleaning up your act and being more aware of your actions is much different than saying going to the supermarket in your car will kill 100 penguins and you better pay us money to stop it
