macs arent really *that* great. Most of the reason they are reliable isnt because their OS is so stable, its bc it being a minority in the desktop environment means its a minority in the virus/etc-coder scope. And that is slowly changing.
I'm still hard-pressed to believe macs are worth 2-3x the price. that just seems wasteful to own a designer computer. |

People who go on with "if you want to do anything serious get a mac" are just stupid.
The simple fact that Iv almost always had my windows computers running fine unless iv done something to warrant a screw up ruins your theory of "mac is better". And yes, iv used macs, in fact I worked as tech support at a uni campus and the macs where a pain in the ass.
Get whatever system you enjoy using more. There is no "BETTER" system (that is unless you are a pretentious wanker :rolleyes: ). |

The laptop with Vista uninstalled is the better value for money item out of those machines.
If you want to look cool and impress all the other fan-gimps while drinking your latte at Starbucks though then go with the MAC.
