| I use Apple simply because they come bundled with really nice audio cards inside and there's really excellent audio software which runs exceptionally on Apple computers. That's not to say they don't run competently on pc's, but I wanted and could afford the industry-standard-esque macbook and I went for it. |

You want one because all the pro dj use apple:toothless ! Apple has its fair share of problem's. I had to do a mod to my laptop to fix it from a faulty chip(known problem with the video chip solider points on the system board. The laptop was died for a year untill I found an online guide to fix it and apple will not extand the warrenty for this known problem. |
LOL Yeah that is it. :p Jake has a similar problem with his Mac. A faulty temp sensor that forces shutdown and no control over it.

a mac virus that would destroy us all. |
As I mentioned previously, it is due to market share. A virus is written for maximum damage. How much damage will you do if you make a MacOS virus over a Windows NT based (this is Windows NT, 2k, XP and Vista) virus? Very little. The number of machines out there is still quite small. The sales numbers are quite misleading, as a majority of new Apple purchases are people that are current owners of Apple products. Considering all this, why would you, as a virus writer trying to cause as much damage as possible, write a virus for a Mac? You wouldn't. You want to cause billions worth of work? Write worms like Sasser, not one that doubles in size ever few months because there are 5 people in the world running that system. |

Dude, I'm done with this. You're totally ignoring what I'm saying that there is more than what you think using Apple . Get off your anti-fanboy train and realize that it's a serious point. |

People are stupid. Just like why would you ever pay $600 for a 2gb ram upgrade from apple when you can get one for $100 off the internet. |

The other thing I hate about apple is that they do ordinary things that other platforms have been doing for years and market them as revolutionary.
i.e Time Machine being a simple "synchronise" function like Microsoft's "briefcase" circa 1995, podcasts simply being serial mp3s that download using a scheduler, or iPods, when mp3 players had already been around for years. |
