Who you guys want to see fight fedor next?
I say Andrei because I think Randy is overrated.
He couldn't finish Tim Sylvia and Gonzaga has no heart. Watch the Fabricio Werdum fight.
I say let him fight Andrei. |

I agree, Fedor vs Andrei would be a good match...however Fedor vs Randy needs to happen. I'm actually a little worried now that Fedor has beaten Tim, I can see Dana White trying to do all that he can to get Fedor and Randy to fight in the UFC. It would be a smart move, and would hurt Affliction a great deal, because now is when they need their poster-boy (Fedor) the most. All in all, I think MMA fans are in for some drama and good match ups in next couple of months. |

^^^ aw, how can you say he didn't "deserve" it? Sylvia has a very impressive record that includes wins over guys who were considered top HWs at the time...and has a fight resume that makes Arlvoski's pale in comparison, btw.

I highly doubt it will happen in the UFC given the bad blood between UFC and Couture (not to mention ongoing lawsuits)...but money talks, so who knows.
Fedor already turned down more money (way more) to fight for UFC, apparently because of their ridiculously restrictive contracts.
Affliction 2 is apparently being set for early November. I wouldn't be suprised to see Barnett-Arlovski, with the winner getting a crack at Fedor. My money would be on Barnett. Fedor could fight someone else or Couture if his contract status is solved by them. Tim-Barnett would be interesting too.
btw...I would bet that Fedor rapes Arlovski 9 times out of 10 ;)
anyone catch the DREAM 5 card this past weekend too? or has anyone been watching it? It's essentially Pride reborn and they have a lot of top LW and some good MW as well. |

lol...ur right..i guess i've always had a hate on for him cuz he bored me to tears with his style and lack of intensity.....he just wasn't a champion with passion....just my opinion....but yes, he did the work to get where he was..so in essence he earned it, therfore deserved it..
i don't believe he will ever attain that status again... |
