Saw Mathew and Cobblestone Jazz last weekend - great show. Jonson alone did not play much of his own stuff though; definitely not his biggest tunes like Marionette and/or Symphony for Apocalypse etc. Was still spot on, though. |
AFAIK he rarely uses any of his own stuff when playing with the group. They put on one of the best live EDM shows I have ever seen though. Maximum tweakage of electronic toys and instruments...the keyboardist, forget his name, is amazing. |

Yep.
And yeah, the keyboardist was fantastic. |

| Digweed played it live last week in Ghent, but I can't say it was very memorable. Indeed a bit formulaic... |

| Hispaniola Remix is clearly the better track. |

Why didn't you make a thread about The Mole's mix of Hispaniola? That's way way WAY better :stongue: |

I love this.
That buildup and white noise gets me every time.

+1
Good here by Dubfire. Nothing groundbreaking(but what is now days), but IMO some great rolling techno. |

| Way better than Jamaica original. Good working track in a set. |

I already liked the Original a lot but this is even better. Some samples are used in a very clever way. The track just keeps on rolling and rolling ...
The Mole Remix of Hispaniola is also brilliant of course. |
