You defended Nefardec when he says the Hardfloor remix of Yeke Yeke was gimmicky, cheesy with all its drums/rolls/kicks and it reminded him of DJ Sammy and you said "Oh that's just his opinion." Same thing happening in this thread, you're calling him out because he thinks the mix you happen to prefer is boring. |

I just said he should listen closer. On first listen it sounded like loop techno to me, after I bought the track it showed itself to be much more. Some people might like it if they listen to the whole thing. I didn't use personal attacks like the dude above.
I wasn't so much defending nefardec in that thread as I was trying to point out that arguing so much over something that is primarily a difference of opinion was useless. I didn't agree with him. |

are you guys saying this track is bad because it really is or because dubfire made it? :p
imo its a decent track, good but not great. good enough to use at least a part of it in a set. and yes i agree the mole remix of hispaniola is better. |

Clovis - As a bit of a lurker, its just really frustrating when you and a few others continually come along and say ... is way better and constantly assert that the tracks you like are better.
Really the Mole track and most of the tracks you like are not better and are usually a totally different style of track. In truth the Mole track will probably be good to one crowd in one venue while this track, even if it perhaps lacks the sublety of the Moles stuff, is pretty good, even if a tad formulaic, big room techno. |

Nah man, play what you like. I just don't find Dubfire's productions worth anything, that and everything he's done since Ribcage sounds EXACTLY the same.

Your average clubber (non-djs, just dance music fans) wouldn't miss hearing the Dubfire remix. In fact, I'm willing to wager that The Mole's remix would get a much better reaction. It's funkier and has a lot more going on than the Dubfire mix.
And Sam, your opinion on anything became invalid once you said you liked the Deadmau5 EM :p |

to be honest i really don't pay much attention to dubfire's productions. ribcage was ok. that grindhouse track was decent but waaay overhyped and overplayed. and this is also decent imo, but like i said not great. |
