plus uno. Owners reserve that right.
I'm sure this isn't the only club in town of which to get pissed in and dance to their slushy-hearts content. If they're so desperate to get into 'Havana' in future, perhaps this will give them the motivation needed to keep off the KFC's. |

| i've heard of stuff like this before...people get refused entry for all types of reasons. i'm sure this happens everywhere but people don't explicitly say "its because you are fat" |

| lol at them calling for a boycott. That would make me way more likely to go there knowing that there won't be any fat chicks at the club |

| some people have a thing for bigger women so that's not good for them. being bigger isn't a bad thing either. |

if the manager had said, "we don't want to let you in 'cause you're black/a woman/are missing a leg" would have the same position?
private establishments don't have the right to on federal civil rights -- and while girth isn't yet covered under these statutes, the club would lose if this went to court.
clubs, of course, do this all the time, but most doormen and managers have the common sense to keep their own fat mouths shut about why fatsos/slobs/ugly gimps are refused entry. |

Getting and staying fat is, at least to some extent, a lifestyle choice. Being black, a woman, or legless is not.
Unless the person cut off his own leg...but that's pretty darn rare. :p |

| I don't suspect a fat, legless, black woman would fancy her chances of getting into 'havana' then after the whole fat-gate fiasco above. |

what do you mean "bigger"? they were fat, they weren't "bigger", they were ING FAT. people get refused entry for their shoes, trousers whatever.. saying you're too fat is pretty reasonable, them sweaty fat bitchez will make others feel uncomfortable on the dance floor |
