Anyone who wants to argue that all bottled water taste the same, I'll fight to the death. |
Agreed!!!
I hate the taste of Evian and Dasani.

There's a distinct difference in the water here in England as opposed to Scotland. Up there, the water is superb, real refreshing and it literally sings when it comes out the tap :)
Down in England here where I live at the moment, there's so much oestrogen pumped into the water supply, that it won't even come out the tap until you tell it it's arse doesn't look big. :( |
LMAO!

If you have a Brita pitcher then why does the flavor of your tap water matter? |
When you run out of filters, or if you're at someone's place, or if you just feel like having some tap water. |

I really lolled at this because I read it as "seriously smelled like my ass"... and the nervous smiley afterward made it perfect.

we have 'hard' water here which means it has a lot of lime in it i think. As a result appliances clog up easier etc. Most kettles now have a filter built in and tbh drinking tap water sucks unless it's chilled, so I usually just fill some bottles up, leave them in the fridge & it's so cold that it actually quenches thirst. Never thought about what it smells like though :eyes:
I love the water from spain for washing in, it's full of so many more minerals and lathers up so well, lovely, but it's not good to drink :toothless |
Ian the only thing taht was fail about your country is the size of the refrigerators. i was staying at my buddies condo in woking and FFS you couldnt fit much more than a 6 pack of beer in there with some food jammed in on the sides? How am i supposed to get drunk on one 6 pack? clearly after centuries of british ingenuity they would have concluded that every household needs at least one full sized fridge just for beer. predrinking at teh pub was expensive as hell man! especially with my monopoly styled canukian dollaz..... I think due to our commonwealth status, canukian dollars should be honoured at par with the pound sterling. And i should get discounts at the maple leaf in soho for being canadian....... 8 pound 50 for a pint of blue........ (and i only did that because i wanted a picture of me drinking a pint of labatt piss water in england)
now back on topic....
if your water smells like your ass, stop ting in your sink...
mine has a nice sulfur smell...... its always great when your city's water intake is down river from a pulp and paper mill........ I think this week it will smell like parts of flugtag machines as i watched 30 of them go into the drink on sunday..... hillarious. |

Its improved since, but about 5+ years ago our water was noticeably brown. No , literally brown. Its still pretty bad taste but has lost its colour. Can't say I've ever really smelled it, so I guess it doesn't really smell.
I don't drink tap water anyway, got a rainwater tank for drinking.
Edit: actually it was probably more like 10 years ago. |

| T, I don't have any smell coming from the water at my place... strange considering our proximity. Regardless... I don't drink the tap-water in Waterloo, I have a reverse osmosis system... but the water is so ty I have to run double the filters and they only last 75% as long as they should. |

Well, wouldn't your filtration system kill the smell?
Maybe it's just my building... :conf: |
