Meal suggestions for a fast/cleanse?

I'm currently getting into something of a fast/flush/cleanse for my system, obviously focusing heavily on drinking water/cranberry juice (real, not cocktail), and trying to restrict my diet for a week to fruits, vegetables, and proteins with little to no salts (or other spices), carbohydrates, or fats (olive oil is probably the only fat I'd like to use when cooking).
So basically given that's how I'm trying to alter my diet, I'd really like to try and at least have a bit of variety in what I eat. I'm thinking:
Breakfast: Mostly fruit and/or a 1-2 eggs (whites only).
Lunch: Veggies, maybe a small amount of grilled meat or whole grain pasta.
Dinner: Grilled chicken or beef with a side of some kind of either steamed or sauteed veggie.
I know these are pretty basic - but I am trying to create at least a few different complete meals to fit those kinds of dietary needs. So I'm looking for any suggestions you all might have to help.
Thanks :) |

What are you doing this for? Weight loss? Body Detox?
You are probably better off eating 4-6x per day in fist full sizes of 5 food groups. |

| Use coconut oil to cook with, as well as to use in other finished dishes. If your trying to cleanse/fast, then u can't be eating a balanced diet. The body won't do what u want it to w/o a serious restriction...with that said, I would do a juice fast for about 3-5 days for a cleanse...or if u think u can handle it, water fast will have u cleaned out real quick, as well as being a bit euphoric :D |

I think this has been mentioned before, but...

This will clean you out, along with a light spinach diet. |

By the way, if u are cutting carbs, u better increase your fat intake as well as protein...u will have no energy if u cut both carbs and fat. Again, coconut oil and EVOO are great for the body to run on, especially the coconu oil as its a saturated fat. |

Trying to do a minimum of ten miles on the bike a day and about a gallon and a half of water/cranberry.

Huh, never even thought of cooking with coconut oil - pretty good for you?
In any event, yeah - I'm definitely pushing for diet restriction right now, which will probably be hardest just because I absolutely crave carbs pretty regularly.

I don't know much about the cleansing power of wheatgrass, but I know where I can get it fresh right down the block, so I'll definitely indulge.
Thanks guys :) |

Yes its very good for you! Its heat stable so u should use it to cook with, and never cook with EVOO...that is heating it up as it will turn black and then becomes a free radical, and thats no good. |

if your gym has it, i'd say definitely jump in the sauna for a good 10mins after every work out/cardio session. It'll definitely open up and clean out your pores.
I also like to cycle this into my diet for a good week every month or so, tons of vitamins

Bolthouse - Green Goodness :) |

Is it weird that I actually really just enjoyed the flavor of my first wheat grass shot?
:conf:
I was under the impression this stuff was supposed to taste awful. Just a bit gritty, but not bad. |
