ok i had to re wright this cos i ed up the first post.so the point i was making is this, does every body spend the time making all there own sounds from scrach.rather then reling on there efect`s.ie vst`s and all the that makes your component`s sound pre selected.because the professhionals use all the latist and up to speed software, rather then making there own sounds.listen to any of lange`s and you see that he spends the time doing the above.and mike koolgan, his legndry push was all made by his own component`s and what a track that was.hope this makes more sence now as a fill it`s of importance.

I seriously don't understand this...:nervous:

yes i do not use efects, i make my own components for my tracks. like delay, only fake people use that. instead i have three synths, 1 in the center, 1 to the right and 1 to the left, the center synth plays the melody once then i draw all the notes again only 2 notes later on the right synth with a little lower volume, and then the left synth playing 1 note later than that with even lower volume. maybe sometimes also the delayd synths has some more filtering and eqing to sound more away. thats beacuse im the real and i do not cheat! its alot of work tho but its worth it when i know ive done it the only real way. how old are u and do u realy come from UK? im guessing liverpool in that case (from your language, not your question, the question is pretty good).

The question isn't really clear...

Almost nobody programs their own delay and reverb algorithms, if that's what you mean.

Although I've been pondering trying to make some interesting delay effects using Max/MSP once I get up to speed in it.

yes lost of people use them. some pro some not so much. most people program there own synths from scratch once they have the ability.

I think the pros are using the latest software to make there own sounds, not instead of making there own sounds.
