Way to focus on the past guys and completely miss the message. I hope the McCain campaign sticks with the "but Biden didn't like Obama 12 months ago" routine until November.
This ticket is rock solid.
I loved the "McCain's seven kitchen table" jab. This campaign is about to get exciting.

Ooh, you're such a tough guy. What you said was 100% subjective (1), and entirely inconclusive (2). Arguing with you on who's Iraq plan would have been more effective had it been enacted would be like arguing over what color drapes would best complement my carpet.

ya i didn't like the idea either. anyway, we can go back and forth all day on who was wrong on what issues at what time. at this point im more interested in the way he expressed himself, willing to take a hard stance to the administration when no one else would. thats what we need right now. when people talk about cut and running, courage, and patriotism, someone willing to get up and say stfu you're all full of

Chuck Hagel: "An Obama-Biden Ticket Is A Very Impressive And Strong Team"
By Greg Sargent - August 23, 2008, 11:45AM
This statement on Biden, just out from GOP Senator Chuck Hagel, won't make him any more friends on the right:
"Joe Biden is the right partner for Barack Obama. His many years of distinguished service to America, his seasoned judgment and his vast experience in foreign policy and national security will match up well with the unique challenges of the 21st Century. An Obama-Biden ticket is a very impressive and strong team. Biden's selection is good news for Obama and America."
The whole thing edges awfully close to an endorsement, and the claim that Biden's national security experience "will" match the 21st Century's challenges sounds a lot like an outright prediction of victory.
But I'm sure Lieberman will approve of any GOP nominee so we're all even, right? It's not like Hagel is actually a respected member of his party or anything.
/waits patiently for Richard Lugar's office to release a statement.

as to subjective, the Iraqi's have already made their opinion on Sloppy-Joe Biden's "Partition Plan" heard in 2007>HERE< and again today, when they realized the Chosen One had picked a foriegn policy dolt as his running mate >HERE<
as to inconclusive, well, the Iraqis now have a timetable for American forces to withdraw...thanx to the "SURGE" that Sloppy Joe so vociferously rejected.
so again. you are wrong. you've been wrong.

I don't really get how those are conflicting thoughts. Do you think that Bush and Cheney disagree on much?
It's a real high-road, straight talk campaign McCain's running. I don't think I've seen one "pro-McCain ad" in the past few weeks. They're only anti-Obama. Conversely, while he has switched gears as of late, most of Obama's didn't even mention McCain.
