TA Phone Nerds: Advise Me!

As a customer of my bank, I get a deal with one of the mobile providers here. For $0 I get to choose either a Nokia 6500 Slide, or an LG Viewty U990.
I know nothing about either of these 2 phones. I will be doing some research, but I thought some of you guys might have some experience with either of these handsets? Anything you can tell me would be appreciated :)
ATTENTION AUSTRALIANS! If I take this offer, I will be moving to the mobile network "Three." Again, I know jack about them, and wondered if any of you guys use them, or know others who use them?

| 3 is great. i never had problems with them, plus a lot of my mates are on it which means free calls :D |

i know someone who works for three, who would say its fantastic
ive always been with optus myself, but havent heard anything to bad about three |

one mate...BUT that was when 3 was first coming out. they where en , he never had reception. but like i said when they first came out.
now imo they have the best reception going around. i like their caps as well. srsly great provider, i cant think of anything bad about them.
*edit* one bad thing is that once you get you mobile you cant use it with another provider because 3 lock it. which isnt that bad, i got mine unlocked just by calling them up and doing it over the phone (mind you with a indian) |
