And whoever keeps pimping Grey Goose needs to check themself...lol. That's the biggest myth- that the Goose is the . It won a taste competition 11 years ago and has sucked balls ever since, especially since getting bought out and mass produced. Open the bottle and smell it for god's sake. ty aftertaste too. Probably the only supposed "top shelf" vodka that tastes better at room temp. than cold. |
I choose Effen over Goose all day. And it is the same price. I really don't choose Goose unless that is all there is. It is loads better than Smirnoff, but I totally find it overpriced. |

I'm still yet to try Effen. Should I go with the black cherry or just go strait to regular? I guess the regular would be the better choice to use as a comparison. Put in my order this morning for the Kauffman. About $240... it better be liquid silk like I remember or I'm going to murder someone |

Well it is up to you. I hate flavored anything, but Black Cherry is the ONLY one I can tolerate. Honestly, it doesn't really matter, Effen is top notch for the price imho. Run to the liquor store. I am sure they have it.
And nice. $240 is so damn much though! :( I really can't wait to buy that bottle when I can. |

OMG Dude I f'ing hate that. My friend gets some high quality whiskey and makes himself a mixed drink (whiskey + coke) and is all like "ooooo omg this is so good. there's nothing like some fine 18 year old whiskey". I'm staring at him in disbelief. Finally I tell him "stfu n00b! you can't even taste the difference so stop pretending like you can." Luckily he doesn't do that with vodka but I know others that do that. !
Never ever getting him alcohol as a present. Unless it's something cheap like Jack Daniels or Johnny Walker Red. |
