Most (decent) vodka is made from wheat or rye. There's a common myth around that it's made from potatoes.. that is only true for a few crappier varieties out there (as well as самагонка - Russian, home-distilled moonshine). There is one premium lable that is made from potatoes (I could be wrong but I think it's Chopin). |
