San Francisco 49ers vs. New Orleans Saints - Probably the best game to watch this week. No defense and plenty of individual talent. Both teams could crack high 30s. - 1

Minnesota Vikings vs. Tennessee Titans - Could go either way. But I believe in Gus. - 0

Green Bay Packers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Can't see them drop 2 in a row. - 0

Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati Bengals - Cincy had their one good game of the year last week... and they lost. Brady Quinn comes in 2nd half and lights it up. - 1

Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars - Field goal festival. Andre Johnson doesn't drop 2 TDs. - 0

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs - KC needs to figure out their QB issues. I guarantee it won't be this week. - 0

Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers - My HS's mascot was the panther... - 1

Arizona Cardinals vs. New York Jets - Warner and co. will torch Jets secondary. - 0

San Diego Chargers vs. Oakland Raiders - Lane Kiffin should stay tho, the team is moving in the right direction. Still, like, 3 years away. :wtf: - 1

Buffalo Bills vs. St. Louis Rams - Should've put money on the Bills to the Super Bowl at the beginning of the season. The AFC is a mess right now. - 1

Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys - It's be great if the Skins upset and make things interesting tho. - 0

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Chicago Bears - Without Westbrook Eagles will have a tough time doing anything. Might change this if Westbrook comes back, he's a gamebreaker. - 1

Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers - Dear Ravens, welcome back to Earth. Love, Denys. - 1

Here we go again

Week 5

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Carolina Panthers - ok, so the Chiefs will be 1-15
Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions - Lions will still be in the hunt for 0-16 after this week
Atlanta Falcons vs. Green Bay Packers - May change this if Rodgers doesn't start
San Diego Chargers vs. Miami Dolphins - the Bolts will be too much for the Fins
Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Giants - The Giants are one of the top 3 teams right now, the Seahawks will take a beatdown
Washington Redskins vs. Philadelphia Eagles - I'm on the fence here this may change
Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens - the Ravens will get their asses handed to them
Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans - the Colts suck right now but the Texans suck worse
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Denver Broncos - you Denver for losing last week I hope you lose again
Buffalo Bills vs. Arizona Cardinals - Arizona showed their true colors last week they will get assraped
New England Patriots vs. San Francisco 49ers - I dunno about this game yet we'll see
Cincinnati Bengals vs Dallas Cowboys - Cowboys will be out for blood the Bengals will get crucified this week no matter if Palmer starts or not
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars - on the fence still on this one
Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints - going with the Saints for now

Week 5

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Carolina Panthers - A better defense in Carolina should limit LJ's production, might be close, though.

Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions - Now that Millen's gone Lions can rebuild... again. But ranked as the worst possible defense in the NFL, there's no way they can get that quick of a turnaround.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Green Bay Packers - A must-win for the Pack. Without Rodgers, however, this team's in bad doo-doo. And Grant has all but disappeared... Whatever happened to Samkon Gado?

San Diego Chargers vs. Miami Dolphins - Chargers will be ready for the direct snap.

Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Giants - With the Dallas lost last week, Giants looking to take control of the division. Expect an aerial slaughter for Manning and Co.

Washington Redskins vs. Philadelphia Eagles - Westbrook should be back, and Philly defense has gotten better every week.

Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens - The Ravens are actually much better than anticipated this year, the Titans are buff tho. Expect punts. And really? REALLY? Titans 5-0 going into the bye?... I've seen stranger things happen.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans - I have a bad feeling about this game. Manning had a week to rest up, the whole team should be a little healthier. Hopefully they worked to get back in sync during the bye.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Denver Broncos - But I have to say Denver's defense is horrendous against the run.

Buffalo Bills vs. Arizona Cardinals - Here's my weekly shocker. Probably way off...

New England Patriots vs. San Francisco 49ers - I'm going to assume all Belichik did during the bye is eat, sleep, and watch game film.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Dallas Cowboys - TO will blow the up with, like, 200 receiving yards.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars - Steelers have no running back, Jaguars defense much better than they showed last week.

Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints - The Vikes need to move in the right direction @ 1-3. Run to set up play action all day long.

Kansas City Chiefs at Carolina Panthers - KC wont win 2 in a row

Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens - Titans go 5-0

San Diego Chargers at Miami Dolphins - They will destroy the fins

Seattle Seahawks at New York Giants - Seahawks cant win on the road

Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles - the skins looked good the last few weeks

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans - If Indy was at home, id pick them to loose

Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers - Lambeau is a tough place to win for the vis. team

Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions - Lions are the second worst team

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Denver Broncos - the broncos

Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys - Will TO get his touches?

Buffalo Bills at Arizona Cardinals - Bills go 5-0 as well

New England Patriots at San Francisco 49ers - NE needs to win

Pittsburgh Steelers at Jacksonville Jaguars - Jags by 3

Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints - Drew looks really good this year

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Carolina Panthers - The Chiefs finally won a game, but I doubt they'll win back-to-back games.
Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions - Bears win on the road.
Atlanta Falcons vs. Green Bay Packers - Grant is healthy again. I expect two TDs from him.
San Diego Chargers vs. Miami Dolphins - LT all day in sunny Miami.
Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Giants - This will be good. Bobby Engram and Deion Branch are healthy. But I still say the Giants start the season 4-0.
Washington Redskins vs. Philadelphia Eagles - Another monster game. I'm going with the Eagles because they're at home and their D might hold Clinton Portis to 75 yards on the ground. If Washington wins, they're my early pick for the Super Bowl favorite.
Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens - Titans suffer their first loss of the season.
Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans - Colts need this win.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Denver Broncos - Great game. I give the nod to Jay Cutler and the gang.
Buffalo Bills vs. Arizona Cardinals - Kurt Warner goes crazy at home. Bills suffer their first loss.
New England Patriots vs. San Francisco 49ers - I'll go with NE, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Niners take this. Mike Martz is clicking.
Cincinnati Bengals vs Dallas Cowboys - Easy win. Marion Barber runs wild.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars - Tough road game for the Steelers. Willie Parker is back in week 7, and he can't get back soon enough.
Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints - Drew Brees throws for 400 yards and three TDs.

Sorry I haven't updated the scoreboard this week guys - been a rough week, will make sure to do it first thing following Monday this week.

As for my picks this week:

Week 5

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Carolina Panthers
Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions
Atlanta Falcons vs. Green Bay Packers
San Diego Chargers vs. Miami Dolphins
Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Giants
Washington Redskins vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens
Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Denver Broncos
Buffalo Bills vs. Arizona Cardinals
New England Patriots vs. San Francisco 49ers
Cincinnati Bengals vs Dallas Cowboys
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints

This was the first week I almost betrayed Green Bay and picked against them, but even against my better judgment I'm going with them for the moment.

If Flynn starts, look for my pick to change at 11:55 tomorrow :p

Beyond that, really excited for Philly/Wahsington, hoping Pittsburgh can show their depth and pull a tough one out against Jacksonville, and I'm picking Seattle as a spoiler this week - think they could take a bit of the wind out of the Giants sails.

We'll see - worst part of all this is that the station that carries the Packers on cable in Wisconsin is in a contract dispute with Time Warner and not airing the game, meaning about a million people in Wisconsin won't be able to watch it at home.

Off to the bars with my dad I go - he can't drink anyway, so built in DD! :p

I forgot to do this, and kickoff just happened. As far as I know nobody has scored yet, but if I have to throw these out for this week, I'm ok with that:

Kansas City Chiefs at Carolina Panthers
Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens
San Diego Chargers at Miami Dolphins
Seattle Seahawks at New York Giants
Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles
Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans - No Schaub, no chance
Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers - If Rodgers is out, that's a difference-maker
Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions

And then these ones are later today:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Denver Broncos
Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys
Buffalo Bills at Arizona Cardinals
New England Patriots at San Francisco 49ers
Pittsburgh Steelers at Jacksonville Jaguars
Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints

Another brutal week thanks to the piss poor football played by Green Bay, the Chargers, Philly, Tampa Bay, and Buffalo (WTF?). Oh and add on Jacksonville for giving that game away to the Steelers.

Maybe Miami is for real. And I wonder if panic has set in up in Green Bay yet.

denys envy
dude the Jags had the ball, and opportunity, to blow out the Steelers all game long. They STILL could've ended it on the final drive.

That offense is so inconsistent I have no idea what team will show up any given Sunday.

I saw the Bills thing coming, not sure if the Edwards situation helped or hurt them, but they were about the most overrated team coming into this week.

Green Bay didn't do much to inspire that they can take over NFC North. It's a long year, but looks like another in which a 9-7 team wins it.

Not really surprising since Trent Edwards got knocked out early with a concussion. JP Losman just sucks that much
