He must, because losing by 24 points is a ing beatdown |

Green Bay didn't do much to inspire that they can take over NFC North. It's a long year, but looks like another in which a 9-7 team wins it. |
I'll tell you the absolute worst part about how they're playing (locally) is that everyone seems to be placing all of the blame at Rodger's feet, and I think that's just ing ridiculous. For all intents and purposes, he's played great thus far, especially given the conditions (replacing Brett Favre, ed shoulder).
The only way I'll be disappointed at this point is if he becomes another Glass Joe - because the real problem is that he has absolutely no protection, a dismal ing running game, receivers that haven't been able to get open, and a defense that is allowing itself to be slaughtered on the ground and through the air.
More than anything I'm ed off by the play of our defensive and offensive lines. Just abysmal.
Also, Thompson and Murphy should have signed Culpepper, IMO. We need some insurance at QB, Matt Flynn is not it. |

Week 5
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Carolina Panthers - A better defense in Carolina should limit LJ's production, might be close, though. - 1
Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions - Now that Millen's gone Lions can rebuild... again. But ranked as the worst possible defense in the NFL, there's no way they can get that quick of a turnaround. - 1
Atlanta Falcons vs. Green Bay Packers - A must-win for the Pack. Without Rodgers, however, this team's in bad doo-doo. And Grant has all but disappeared... Whatever happened to Samkon Gado? - 0
San Diego Chargers vs. Miami Dolphins - Chargers will be ready for the direct snap. - 0
Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Giants - With the Dallas lost last week, Giants looking to take control of the division. Expect an aerial slaughter for Manning and Co. - 1
Washington Redskins vs. Philadelphia Eagles - Westbrook should be back, and Philly defense has gotten better every week. - 0
Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens - The Ravens are actually much better than anticipated this year, the Titans are buff tho. Expect punts. And really? REALLY? Titans 5-0 going into the bye?... I've seen stranger things happen. - 1
Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans - I have a bad feeling about this game. Manning had a week to rest up, the whole team should be a little healthier. Hopefully they worked to get back in sync during the bye. - 1
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Denver Broncos - But I have to say Denver's defense is horrendous against the run. - 1
Buffalo Bills vs. Arizona Cardinals - Here's my weekly shocker. Probably way off... - 1
New England Patriots vs. San Francisco 49ers - I'm going to assume all Belichik did during the bye is eat, sleep, and watch game film. - 1
Cincinnati Bengals vs Dallas Cowboys - TO will blow the up with, like, 200 receiving yards. - 1
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars - Steelers have no running back, Jaguars defense much better than they showed last week. - 0
Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints - The Vikes need to move in the right direction @ 1-3. Run to set up play action all day long. - 1

I agree, though, in my opinion, Culpepper is hardly an upgrade. |

I forgot to do this, and kickoff just happened. As far as I know nobody has scored yet, but if I have to throw these out for this week, I'm ok with that:
Kansas City Chiefs at Carolina Panthers
Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens
San Diego Chargers at Miami Dolphins
Seattle Seahawks at New York Giants
Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles
Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans - No Schaub, no chance
Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers - If Rodgers is out, that's a difference-maker
Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions
And then these ones are later today:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Denver Broncos
Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys
Buffalo Bills at Arizona Cardinals
New England Patriots at San Francisco 49ers
Pittsburgh Steelers at Jacksonville Jaguars
Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints |
I'm just gonna roll with this cause nobody objected...

This week should be interesting, I see at least 6 games where either team playing could easily loose. |

Week 6 -
Chicago vs. Atlanta - Chicago's stout defense and developing running game (where did this Forte kid come from!) should do well enough to pull this one out. Atlanta has been up and down, and they won last week, so...
Miami vs. Houston - I'm starting to take the Dolphins seriously. It's an up and coming defense with an accurate QB. The Fish should be ok this week.
Baltimore vs. Indianapolis - Baltimore defense (esp. secondary) is beat up after last week.
Detroit vs. Minnesota - 0-16?
Oakland vs. New Orleans - Saints in a must win to keep up with Carolina. Oakland is in a new scheme. Should be a blow-out.
Cincinnati vs. NY Jets - I think Cincinnati will keep it close every week... and lose.
Carolina vs. Tampa Bay - The "who's for real" match-up. Tampa Bay finally has a solid line, certainly making Griese (Garcia this week?) look better than they are. But Carolina's defense is tough against the run, which will force them to throw and force turnovers.
St. Louis vs. Washington - Do Lions and Rams play this year? I'd watch :)
Jacksonville vs. Denver - Denver sucks against the run. But Jacksonville can't sack the QB... should be close, and could go either way. I'm sticking with the Jags.
Dallas vs. Arizona - Remember when Brett Favre torched their secondary... what do you think Tony Romo is capable of?
Philadelphia vs. San Francisco - Must win to keep up in the toughest division in the NFL.
Green Bay vs. Seattle - I just don't think that the Seahawks are THAT terrible. Prove me wrong, Pack, prove me wrong.
New England vs. San Diego - Let's get some revenge for the AFC Championship loss.
Giants vs. Cleveland - Whatever happened to that awesome line and high-octane offense in Cleveland? |

OAK @ NO - New Orleans will bounce back from a bad mon.
CIN @ NYJ - Cincy looks like they are ready to win this week
CHI @ ATL - Orton throws for 250 with 2 TD'S
DET @ MIN - Peterson runs wild over the lackluster Det D
STL @ WAS - STL still does not get their first win
CAR @ TB - This is a tough game to pick. I think that CAR is playing just a bit better football than the Bucks
MIA @ HOU - Im starting to believe
BAL @ IND - Indy gets their first win at home
JAX @ DEN - Denver is pretty tough at home. Jax just doesnt have enough offense to keep in this game
GB @ SEA - After an terrible beatdown last week, Seattle will bounce back and take the win by 4
PHI @ SF - Philly needs to prove that they can still hang with the rest of their division.
DAL @ AIR - Dallas will destroy the birds. Dal will return to the run and score 3 rush TD's
NE @ SD - SD wants revenge from last years playoff defeat.
NYG @ CLE - The G men stay undefeated. When will they play a GOOD team though?
