Yeah, no.

I already suggested that to my bf, and he said absolutely not. Which really, I don't want to get another cat either. We spoil this one silly.

Honestly, I think she'll grow out of it... I'm just trying to find solutions so we can sleep :(

How do you "spoil" a pet?
StanVoid
put him in a microwave when it's bedtime, it's a pretty well insulated box you won't hear him then.

Sorry but its normal for a young cat to act like that. my cat won't allow me to close my bedroom door.

my only suggestion is play with the cat before bed to tire him/her out. indoor cats have only one outlet for their energy.

lol... your cat won't allow you? the inmates are running the asylum in your house man!

i spoil my cat too but it still doesn't change the fact that he gets lonely and bored when i'm away at work or school or out having a social life. especially now that i'm living alone and there isn't another person in the house to entertain him when i'm gone, the adjustment in his attitude and behavior is so apparently negative that i'm seriously considering getting another cat just to keep him company.

this past week alone he has busted open a box of cookies, box of crisps, package of spaghetti, and knocked all his cans of fancy feast off the shelves in the cupboards. i think he's trying to eat his feelings away.

how many of you "cat owners" use your cat for the good stuff? you know what i'm talking about, don't act stupid. probably cheesing your fkin balls off right now

I don't think one can pwn cat. Cats are far to individual for that, you can own a dog or a car.
I say I live with 2 cats

my cat does that too. you have let it keep meowing until it finally relizes that youre NOT going to open the door. dont give in, if you do, the little fuzzy bastard will meow like crazy anytime it wants anything. good luck!

i sleep with a loaded mini supersoaker looking water gun for my cat. i also have a fairly large dog cage that i used to use for my dog so when she starts annoying me at like 3, 4 and 5 in the morning (yes, she wakes me up at those times EVERY SINGLE DAY) i just throw her in the cage (in the livingroom) and then close my bedroom door and put a pillow over my head and go to sleep.

my next step is giving her xanax. been meaning to talk to my vet about that actually.
