View this Thread in Original format

i got a question on a certain type of trance. i dont know what you call it if its tech-trance or not. but some examples would be Warmduscher, Scot PJ, Derler $ Klitzing, Spacefrog, DJ Balloon, etc, etc. well thats all i can name off the top of my head. they all sound somewhat the same in style. I was just wandering if anyone who likes this type of trance could throw down some nice track recomendations? try to keep on the same type of trance that im talking about though. Most people call it Hard Trance, altho it's not really my preferred style of Hard Trance... I prefer Hard Trance with a good use of 303s and generally a tad faster and harder like Choci and Lab 4...

You can call it hardtrance or hardhouse. Good examples of hardtrance are:

Rank 1 - Awakening (Cosmic Gate Remix)
Ferry Corsten - Punk (Cosmic Gate Remix)
    Altitude - Altitude (S.H.O.K.K. Remix)
Alex Bartlett - Amnesia (Flutlicht vs. S.H.O.K.K. Remix)

When you say hardhouse you can think of the german hardhouse. Scott Project, Warmduscher, Kai Tracid and Derb are good examples of the german hardhouse:

Warmduscher - Hardcore Will Never Die
    Warmduscher - 10 Kleine Bassdrums
Kai Tracid - Trance & Acid
Yoda - Definitely (DJ Scott Project Remix)
    Derb - Derb
    Derb - In Africa

If you like your hardhouse even harder you should look out for the dutch or italian hardhouse:

    Technoboy - Hardrive (Lesson 1 or 2)
    Tuneboy - Housenation
K-Traxx - Noize Tool (Technoboy Remix)
    Atlantic Wave - The Creation
    Taq 9 - Slaves
DJ Vortex - Incoming (Arome Remix)

And then you also have the UK hardhouse. Personally I don't like this kind of genre. Artists like Tom Harding spin this kind of hardhouse. It's very fast and energetic. But IMO not 'hard'.

To hear what kind of hardhouse you like you should check out livesets from these artists:

    (UK Hardhouse) Tom Harding
(German Hardhouse) DJ Scott Project, Warmduscher, Kai Tracid
(Italian or Dutch Hardhouse) Pavo, Dana, Technoboy
Biohazard
Kai Tracid, Warmdusher, Technoboy, Pavo, Dana we call this HARDSTYLE here in holland

hardhouse is stuff like lab 4, tom harding, lisa lashes and captain tinrib

Don't call it HARDHOUSE because it has nothing to do with HOUSE!!! MY GOD!!! :whip:

And Because I Got High wasn't done by Warmduscher, it's a whitelabel!!!!
