"I'm a PC"... all this ad does is state the obvious and reinforce that Microsoft is the current market leader, yeah almost everyone is a "PC" by the shear fact that they own a windows based PC. so what.
At least Apple shows why their products are so much better, in this case with a head to head comparison with PC. a pretty strong tactic really that will convert more and more people to Apple.
That's marketing.
This is why Microsoft responded with this ad, they're feeling the hurt.

They do? I must have missed that part of the ad. All I seem to recall is an actor who admits to not even liking Macs saying "I'm a Mac" and proceeding to act like an aging hipster douchebagel whom I'd immediately want to punch in the face if I ever had the misfortune of meeting in person. |
