it doesn't make any sense. just like what g said about the armada night, why would they throw in jp or any other dj when tiesto can sell out all the tickets by himself? |
sure it does....if supposodly Roseland will be open 24 hours for this NYE then it make perfect sense.... |

| i completely realize everyone on this site hates JP and everyone is entitled to their own opinion...personally i think his events are phenomenal and the time and effort that are put into them with live performances and shows are second to none IMO. on top of the fact that in the countless times ive seen JP, hes never once played a bad set...tiesto on the other hand is in garbage in the states. what a waste of money its gunna be to throw down $80-100 for tiesto on NYE tix for a 3-4 hour set not knowing what ur gunna get. |

Listen Homes...
I've had my fair share of Tiesto and JP sets in the my clubbing lifetime. i can easily name 5 times in which JP has the bed BIG TIME. So your Assessment of JP playing a bad set is wrong
3 of the times in which he was playing on very big Stage.
WMC 2007, Rehab 2007, NYE in AC in 2007
Anyone who s up a vibe the way JP did at Rehab in 2007 should be shot... |

so what ur essentially sayin then is that not one dj is ever allowed a bad performance? uve named 3 times and i can guarantee u everyone feels the exact same way about a certain dj as well who has the bed more than once before....look how many people werent thrilled with PVD's summerstage events. and as for rehab 2007...i dont know how he was lastyear but i was at his rehab event this year and he was phenomenal as well as his wmc 2007 performance...not much u can do when ur being threatened with noise ordinance violations the whole time ur spinning along with a torrential downpour. try spinning with miami cops next to u, with the music just above a loud talk because of the cops, and see how much the crowd loves ur set. |

| nor am i saying that JP doesnt have a bad set...because i have friends who are die hard JP fans who say the same thing that he has the bed before....i was saying myself personally out of all thetimes ive seen him, hes never disappointed...i wasnt at rehab 07 nor AC for NYE last year but the people i know who did go to AC would agree with ur statement so im not arguing with u about that. however every DJ has their share of off nights |

Other DJs had to deal with same conditions and they did just fine
And what about JP's WMC 2006 set at Nikki Beach....? Yet another disaster.....
You're basically saying that everytime you've seen, he was on point.
Again I've had my fair share of JP events and i will admit when he is on; HE IS ON.
But you come off as the typical JP fan in that JP can do No Wrong in this world.
I'd give JP more props if he would take his career to the nxt level and get out of the US and show other parts of the world what he is capable of(cancuun spring break doesn't count)
BTW..to show theres no hard feelings, I'll put you on list for his gig on Oct 12th in Jersey if intrested |

oh believe me theres no hard feelings at all...just an open forum discussion. just like i said tho...ive seen JP countless times and hes destroyed it every time. im fully aware hes played like on numerous occasions and clearly uve been at some of them which is obviously where ur point of view comes from which is fine. and i certainly agree with u about taking it to the next level and heading overseas. i know hes played pacha ibiza although i havent been able to read any reviews or been in touch with anyone on how its gone.
and i definitely appreciate the guestlist for his jersey event..ill just have to check to see if i can make it to the jersey event since i live 5-6 hours away from jersey..do u know where in jersey its gunna be at? |
