thats cause i dont believe theyre on sale yet from area events....u can try tiesto.com...i know theres tix on there but i havent tried to buy em from that site yet |

| so tix are officially on sale. as much as i want to buy one there is no way i can drop $150 without the afterhours house dj being announced yet. tiesto is certainly not worth $150. hopefully they announce who it will be soon. |

now that the tickets are officially on sale, i don't think there is going to be any after hours dj.
i saw this on his website and myspace. i just have a feeling that he is going to rip a new ahole.

5 hours for $150? new years or no new years thats still crazy
i dont even think people pay that much to see him in tiesto in concert over in europe
again at this point i still feel its kind of a rip off maybe as the new year aproaches ill change my mind and go
i feel they need to announce the full lineup, or will this just be tiesto?
cause if its just goin to be tiesto till 5 then thats ok, for the hours he will spin will be better for mecompared to who iam hearing that will be spinnin at pacha during those hours. but for afterhours at pacha it might be someone who is deff known for banging out marathon sets and i would deff go check him out after tiesto, if i even go to tiesto.... |

i've surely been to more tiesto gigs than anyone here, and i'm refusing to pay that on principle alone (i didn't go to the World in '02 for the same reason -- and that gig turned out to be a half-capacity mess).
5 hours or not, there is no way on earth Area is going to find 3000+ adults to shell out that kind of money -- especially since midtown on nye is usually a zoo populated by the mullet- and fannypack-sporting set... |

yea but i have a feeling it will do good numbers wise for tiesto he has a pretty big following in nyc, but it is 21+ so thats is kind of a plus for us, on the other hand alot of young 18 and up kids would be there and shell out the cash to see him and that would actually help the promoter in filling up the venue
again i agree with you this party is not worth it as of now for me
i havent seen tiesto since dec 06 at crobar and i wanna see him
but iam still undecided as of now
i think i will wait till full lineups and time slots come out for this party and other partys goin on nye and make my decision |
