Yes but how it affects your sound will be different for every individual, so no comparison can be made from what one producer uses to another as it means absolutely nothing to anyone but the individual..

close your eyes once in a while and concentrate only in the music, helps me a lot, instead of staring at the meters move checking peaks and such... just listen... I feel it lets me disconnect my environment...

You are correct, sir. I'm glad we were able to come to an agreement most sensibly. :toothless

Edit:
But regardless of what everyone says, what DAW you use *WILL* effect your sound. Not directly of course, but every decision you make while producing a track is dictated by your environment. But that will be different for each person... which is why picking the right software for YOU is what's important.

latency issues for me. the PDC integrated (as already stated in this thread) simply isn't up to par, nor is the CPU usage (also previously stated), though I have released a few tracks with a variety of labels using FL as the sequencer...meaning I can't complain too much about it

well as far as i have understood, there's a few ms delay in virus ti regardless of the sequencer used.

Yeah, but most DAWs would compensate for this by playing everything else a little bit behind the time as well. Thats why its delay compensation;) Virus is notoriously finicky though, I'm probably going to buy one in the next six months:nervous:

there's a latecy compensation for individual mixer tracks in the latest FL aswell.

besides, if you're gonna export everything to audio (as most people do with hardware), the latency doesn't matter.
and you can always throw the vsti plugin out and do it in the old fashion way with midi and audio cables :)
