First off...whoever thinks people record videos using there cell phones and cameras for personal use are full of . I have seen loads of people post there videos on youtube or there own website. I highly doubt he is the only one in there without "Permission" to do this. The problem is you cant stop every single person in there since so many people are doing it.
In my opinion I seriously doubt you were hurting the Guvernments status in any way shape or form and if anything did them a favour by attracting more people to the venue.
Dick move on there part but thats life I guess. |

I think maybe the tag did it.
Either way whatever the reason is, hopefully you can go back in there and make more vids, they're actually better than any other ones I've seen anywhere. |

Yah it was definatwly that fake laminate that did it...
That was a highly stupid move...
I really hope you didn't flash it to try and get in free...
And for those of you who think that basic rules and courtesy's apply in the nightclub world, than you are totally retarded... |

The nightlife buisness world is the worst in that department. |

Oh god no I'd never do that, and yes I believe it was a dumb thing I did on that part. It was a good intention gone bad in that case. |

I didn't use it EVER as a media pass. Nor did I try to pass it off with security, Guv official or anyone else connected with Guv. I also never jammed it in anyone's face and made any claims whatsoever that I was in there under any official capacity. The tag does not have anything on it to mislead one into thinking otherwise... it just says RadioXex and nothing else. Sure it wasn't a smart move in the end and I really didn't put that much thought into it when I thought it would be cool to wear it. Actually I was pretty proud on how excellent it turned out. Maybe I'm too good for my own good sometimes. It's a curse... I know... LOL! |

if they dont want a certain person taking video for commercial use then that is enough reason... |
To what exactly are you referring as "commercial use?" The term commercial implies, well, commerce - something being bought or sold. He's already stated that he doesn't profit in any way from these videos (and honestly, how could he?). You keep using that phrase but it doesn't seem to be applicable here.
I understand where you're coming from, that you paid your dues and went through a lot of hardship in order to get your media privileges and that he was essentially getting a free ride. Rules are rules, and it is the club management's prerogative to decide who gets to do what on their property. No justification or explanation is required.
However, given the circumstances, the history, and the fact that the Guvernment has probably benefited in some way, no matter how small, from the free PR, an explanation could be reasonably expected, especially when asked directly.
You're asserting that the Guvernment staff acted within their rights. No one is disputing that. What we are saying is that they acted unprofessionally. A one-paragraph response by e-mail that would have taken somebody all of 5 minutes to type up would have diffused any hostility and avoided a situation such as this thread, which in my opinion is already bad PR given the number of people here who go to that club.
There's nothing to be gained from refusing to communicate as long as you're not being harassed. Simply because one has the right to remain silent does not make it good business practice. |

profit is not always a monetary gain.
im pretty sure i remember seeing "radioxex" logos in his videos which means either the video or the logos are a marketing tool for his online radio website. that is how his videos are considered as commercial use. |
