Disturbing songs for Our Dear Leader

Disturbing... and sickening. Just like Jesus Camp, these kids don't have the mental capacity to understand politics just like they can't understand religion in its complexity. The beginning of the video says that the video "took place in a neighbor's house in Venice, California, as if it were some kind of spontaneous grassroots effort by a bunch of musically inclinded neighborhood families, but the video itself doesn't support that. Looks lke the production wizard Jeff Zucker appears to also be President & CEO of NBC Universal.

Excerpt from the movie's description:
quote:
At the heart of the project were 22 children and their music. The willingness of all involved to come together for them was a testament to our hope, unity, courage, joy and belief in the future represented by these children.

Their music? No, the music came from the people who wanted to indoctrinate these children, and many others, in the faith of the New Messiah. This video is emblematic of everything Obama.... a bunch of well meaning, wealthy people with zeal and good intentions gather all the best support and resources available and create something totally vapid. And they are just thrilled about it, because they were so amazing in the process.

Kind of reminds me of another example of singing for "The Dear Leader":

Edit: I wonder how the media would react if a video like this came out about McCain/Palin? Think it would be ignored like this one?

LOL, anybody notice it's the right wingers calling Obama the messiah, or the "Chosen One"?? :haha:

This thread is a joke...

I'm pretty sure Obama supporters aren't hysterical enough to give two s if there's a kid's song about hockey moms or Sarah Palin.

You're right dude

The "chosen one" and "messiah" nicknames are funny... because they are obviously mocking how he and his brainwashed followers perceive themselves

No way... Obama supporters are definitely NOT hysterical in any way, shape, or form :stongue:

SO believing he's going to be a better president than McCain makes us brainwashed followers, huh? What does that make you? McCain's drone bot!!!

Your argument hold not weight here. You equate political affiliation or support for a candidate to be "brainwashed". Clearly, you yourself fit that criteria...

No, your rebuttal holds no weight. I'm not making a blanket statement about people who will vote for Obama dip. Stop putting words in my mouth and reading so far into everything I say. God! You are the king of generalizations. I'm talking about the ones who are cultish in their following, blindly believing anything and everything that he says and will support him EVEN IN THE FACE OF FACTS that go against what they believed about him at one point, and/or their own personal beliefs. Yes, there are plenty of them out there... but I'm definitely not saying that applies for every single Obama supporter. And I'm referring to people believing in the personality and packaged savior product that Obama makes himself out to be, and that many of his supporters prop him up as; I'm not making the argument that it's about people's feeling who would actually make a better president based on policy. I have said a million times that I disagree with a LOT of Johnny Mac's policies, and you know this... so you should now I'm not McCain drone bot.

Ok, I'm sorry, but that's a crock of . Nobody seriously supports Obama because of some supernatural aura about him. Anybody who supports a party for reasons other than policy or capability is in an extreme minority. Krypton is right - by mockingly referring to Obama as "The Chosen One" you insinuate that all support for him is somehow religious in nature... which is ironic, considering the party you support puts a lot of stock in blind faith.

Whatever dude, I can say the exact same thing about McCain's hardcore supporters, EVEN IN THE FACE OF THE FACTS, they support Bush's III term. You're the one calling him the savior, and the messiah, and yes, you are talking about people who believe Obama would be a better president, otherwise why would people support him? Why would people support McCain?

Yes, you can say the same thing about a certain population of McCain supporters... doesn't make my point about Obama's personality cult false. I am calling him the savior and messiah, as a mock to his arrogance and elitism, that he "is the one the world has been waiting for", etc. People support him for several reasons.... some will vote for him for the sole reason that he is black, not because they like his policies. Some will vote for him because his empty words sway them.... some will vote because they want to be on the side of history... some because they have voted democrat their whole lives and that will never change; It's not always a matter of people voting for one person over the other simply because they think he'd make a better president.

By extreme minority, do you mean the 97% of registered voting black people who will vote for him? What's more likely... that it's because he's black, or because they've taken a long hard look at both candidates, studied their policies to the bone, and will be making an informed decision?

And, insinuating is different than specifically stating. I never meant to insinuate a blanket statememt about every obama supporter, as I already mentioned. It's just a coincidence that there are a load of his supporters that buy into his empty words.

Side note: I'm not a believer in blind faith or religion, and it annoys me that the republican party is so associated with it. For me though, I stick to my solid conservative principles for policy beliefs, and detatch myself completely from the religious nonsense.
