Fact: Unless you keep your toothbrush in an enclosed space in the bathroom (i.e. a cupboard or drawer) it has fecal matter on it - aka particles.

That still won't keep it 100% -free but it helps to reduce the amount of steaming log particles that will invade your oral hygiene instrument.

Poop particles spread through the air and land on things in your bathroom.

Lock up your toothbrush you heads.

Poop particles are known for single-handedly keeping teeth clean for the last century.

The problem this study fails to mention is that we are disinfecting too much and are being exposed to fewer and fewer germs. This in turn making the common cold or things like chicken pox potentially deadly.

If I have kids, they'll be playing outside every day, and cleaning their room will be up to them (meaning it will likely get very dirty).

:p

The development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria has two parts:

1. People taking too many ing antibiotics.

2. People disinfecting everything, making their immune systems weak and unable to handle getting sick without taking lots of ing antibiotics.

These two things feed off of each other.

Yes.

Anti-germ culture is actually having a very negative effect on human health.

Excema, asthma and various allergies were nearly non-existent 100 years ago, but now almost every child suffers from some affliction. Why? An under-exposure to germs in early life prevents the immune system from developing properly. Germs are a neccessary part of human life.

It makes me laugh when people say "don't eat that, it touched the floor for 2 seconds!", because the floor is most likely as clean, or cleaner than the bench or table top. Bacteria are EVERYWHERE anyway. Besides obvious things, like not eating rotten or old food, it's ridiculous to think that you can avoid bacteria and germs when they are in the air, on your face, on every surface and most of all, inside you.

I have no problem eating in my bathroom at all (in fact bathrooms are often the cleanest place in most houses), though I'm not going to rest my food ON the toilet or anything like that.

I can't recall ever having beer in the shower...must try.

reading this just made me remember that I had a ed up dream last night and you were in it

A bunch of my friends/family were up at a lake because there was some outdoor recital in the forest and my bf's niece was in it. His sister-in-law wanted to go swimming but she was scared to go alone so my sister went with her. Like 2 hours went by and neither of them came back so we all went out looking for them. We then found my sister pulling her out of the lake because she had swallowed some water and was just regaining consciousness. I approached and saw that it wasn't Marc's sister-in-law, but that it was actually you. You had a huge 1980's fro and you kept saying "NO NO EVERYONE! Stop looking at my bangs! They are wet and they don't look right! This isn't what they ALWAYS look like"

:wtf: :stongue:
